Ganya is an orphan, who is at the mercy of his evil uncle and aunt. As the sole inheritor of a large property, his life is made miserable by them, who have him around only to take hold of his riches. Unable to tolerate their behavior, he runs away from home, and reaches Lord Ganesha's temple. Gangu Tai takes pity on him and takes him home.
